Scope of advisory

Fahy Advisory provides commercial and financial advisory services to private business owners. We are not a registered tax agent, public accountant, or Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) holder. We do not lodge tax returns or BAS, and we do not advise on financial products. Where work falls outside our lane we refer you to a qualified professional.

Engagement

All advisory engagements are governed by a written engagement letter signed before work begins. Fees are fixed-monthly with a 30-day notice period either side. Full terms are in the engagement letter.

Data residency

Client financial data is hosted in Supabase (Sydney, Australia). Access to your accounting system (Xero or equivalent) is read-only via API.

Sub-processors

• •Anthropic (commentary generation via Claude API — US).
• •Google Workspace (email, calendar, file sharing).
• •Xero (read-only API access where applicable).

Retention & deletion

On termination of an engagement, client data is retained for three years (per the engagement letter §E4) and then deleted. A full CSV export is provided on exit.

Privacy

We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988). We do not sell or share client data with third parties beyond the sub-processors listed above. For privacy enquiries email tfahy@fahyadvisory.com.
